Molde Azul is going firmly for innovation hand in hand with their clients and, as a result of this constant work, the Company from Onda has added to its catalog the new carbide liners that allow a life cycle of over 3 million strokes, when the normal ones (K100 tempered Steel liners) last for about a million strokes.
The liners play a key role in the final quality of the ceramic tile, as they are the pieces that set their perimeter and shape their side profile. A minimal wear on the blades can mean, therefore, a reduction in the final product quality and a loss of productivity.
Going for the new carbide liners ensures practically no wear in the liners because of its extremely high resistance to strokes. Moreover, the fact of having a much longer life cycle also reduces the changing times of the moulds: The less you change them, the longer production time for the Factory and therefore the more productivity and larger benefits.
With new products of this kind, Molde Azul introduces small improvements in their products that can produce significant changes and production increases for ceramic tile manufacturers.
